What we do in Devon

One company for the whole mechanical side of the house.

Heating and cooling service in Devon starts with the complaint you notice every day. We inspect the equipment, then consider room use, controls and airflow where relevant. A guest room used occasionally, a daily office and an open living area may need different attention. We explain the options without assuming that every uneven temperature calls for a complete replacement.

AC repair & service

Diagnosis is $129 for the first system and $125 for each additional, and we quote the repair before touching a wrench. AC service details.

A heat pump plan that includes backup

For a Devon replacement, compare the full heating setup rather than just the outdoor unit. We review available fuel, electrical capacity, indoor equipment and controls before recommending a heat pump or dual-fuel approach. Heat pump installation and service.

Comfort for a separate space

Ductless can be worth considering for a Devon room that has a different use or lacks a practical duct route. We review the room, placement and drainage before recommending indoor and outdoor equipment. Explore room-by-room options.

New system installation

Installed pricing lives in an online calculator, so you can price a replacement at your kitchen table with nobody sitting across from you. Price your system now.

Maintenance

$129 per gas, propane, or electric system for a one-time maintenance check ($250 for an oil furnace or oil boiler tune-up), or annual plans with repair discounts, priority scheduling, and $99 service calls at any hour for contract holders. Maintenance & plans.

Water heaters & dryer vents

Tank and tankless water heating, and dryer vent cleaning from $175 — the rest of the basement, handled on the same visit when you want it. Water heating.

Your visit, clearly explained

Devon appointments, planned around the property

Middletown HVAC serves Devon from Glen Mills. We ask about the equipment and the part of the house needing attention so the appointment begins with useful information.

  • Describe the daily pattern When requesting Devon service, tell us when the room feels uncomfortable and whether other rooms feel normal. That history is often more useful than a guess about the failed part.
  • Confirm what the visit covers Let us know if you want more than one system checked at your Devon address. We can explain the visit scope and applicable service-call pricing before scheduling.
  • Keep replacement decisions reviewable A Devon installation proposal should explain the equipment, controls and work involved. We confirm the final scope before you approve the replacement.
Questions worth settling at the house

Different rooms can have different jobs.

The Devon name comes from its railroad-era development, but we do not infer your floor plan from that history. We check how the house works today, especially when a room has changed use.

  • A home office changes the comfort question An office occupied all day may expose a problem that was less noticeable when the room was rarely used. We ask about the schedule and check the existing system before discussing added equipment.
  • More thermostats are not automatically the answer Separate temperature control needs equipment and airflow that can support it. We explain what would be required rather than adding a control and leaving the underlying room problem untouched.
  • Cooling water needs a dependable exit For equipment serving an upper or separately finished space, we review condensate drainage and accessible service points as part of the installation scope. Those details deserve a plan before work begins.

Three of them, quoted word for word.

Had a great experience working with Bryan & Heather. Started with an emergency call late evening during a bad winter storm when our old HVAC broke. Bryan came right out to diagnose the problem. Due to our old system being very old, it made sense to replace the entire system rather then the specific part which caused the issue. Bryan took the time to explain everything so I could make an informed decision and trusting his guidance. He even came back in the middle of the night to leave space heaters for our family until the new system could be installed. Since the new system was installed we have a few minor issues, most of which are due to our unique house issues. However, Bryan or his team comes right out immediately upon contacting them. I would definitely recommend Middletown HVAC to anyone dealing with HVAC issues.

Bryan and his team are stellar. They installed my new system last summer, and just came for my first maintenance check. They were on time, ready to go and made excellent recommendations for continued improvement in the future. There is never sales pressure, and they are thorough and helpful. I can’t say enough good things and would recommend them to anyone looking for an HVAC company.

I just used Middletown HVAC for the first time and it is safe to say I found my new service provider. From start to finish the tech Cody was very polite, knowledgeable and thorough. He made sure to explain everything that was being done and answered every question I had, I have to say he was wise beyond his years! If you are in the Delaware County area I would highly recommend this company!

The same published prices as everywhere else

Devon doesn’t get a different price book.

Our prices are on this website before we ever see your house. A service call is $129 for the first system and $125 for each additional system checked on the same visit. Evenings, weekends, and daytime holidays are $275; overnights and holiday evenings are $375; and maintenance plan members pay $99 at any hour, including 2 AM. Repairs are quoted flat, in writing, before the work starts.

Useful answers before you call

Devon questions.

Do you arrange HVAC service for Devon homeowners?
We serve Devon from our Glen Mills base. Let us know the property address and whether you need a repair, maintenance or replacement planning. We check the appointment details directly, including access and any other systems you would like inspected.
What does the service-call price include for a Devon visit?
Check the published visit rates on this page and tell us how many systems need attention. The repair itself is quoted separately after diagnosis. A maintenance appointment or installation estimate has its own scope, which we clarify when you book.
How do I request heating help in Devon on a weekend?
Call or text our team to check weekend availability and the applicable service-call fee. A real person can discuss the next step; booking online is intended for future appointments and does not establish an immediate emergency visit.
How should I use the installation estimator for a Devon home?
Start with the kind of system you are considering and compare the available equipment and starting prices. Treat an uncertain size as something to confirm with us; the existing equipment label alone does not establish the correct selection for your Devon house.
Can you help with a Devon home office that is uncomfortable all day?
Yes. Tell us the room’s location, when the problem is worst and whether the door is normally closed. We investigate the existing equipment and airflow first, then explain whether repair, adjustments or a separate system is worth considering.
Should a Devon bonus room have its own thermostat?
That depends on how the room is served and what the equipment can support. We compare the existing air path with a separate system or other changes, and explain the installation requirements before recommending independent control.
